New faces, roles, for Shaw Media’s original content team

TORONTO – Shaw Media revealed a number of new organizational changes to its original content team Wednesday, a combination of promotions and new hires. Led by SVP and chief creative officer Christine Shipton, the division is responsible for the development of original series and co-productions, the creation of multiplatform content, and domestic and international strategic partnerships. HALIFAX – Bell Aliant announced a number of new enhancements for its customers in Atlantic Canada Tuesday with the launch of a new FibreOp TV feature called Restart, more On Demand TV programming, and faster Internet service. CBC shoots down union’s allegations of property sell-off

TORONTO – CBC is not in the process of selling off all of its buildings, despite assertions to the contrary made by a union representing CBC employees.
