Rodrigues tapped as new director of original programming at Rogers Media

TORONTO – Nataline Rodrigues has left the CBC to take on the role of director of original programming at Rogers Media starting October 1st.  Rodrigues (pictured) will manage the submission, development, and production of original Canadian programming for all Rogers Media non-sports television brands.  In addition to working with the independent community to evaluate pitches and proposals for both development and production, she will oversee the current slate of original series including Package Deal, Seed, Storage Wars Canada, The Project: Guatemala, Mother Up!,  and The Bachelor Canada.  Rodrigues will report to VP of programming & content Hayden Mindell. CBC confirms Conway as head of English Services

OTTAWA – CBC/Radio-Canada officially announced Thursday that Heather Conway has been named executive vice-president of English Services, and will join the Corp in December. As Cartt.ca reported earlier this week, Conway is currently chief business officer at the Art Gallery of Ontario.  Her previous experience includes president of Edelman Public Relations, executive vice-president at Alliance Atlantis, executive vice president of TD Financial Group, vice president of Hill and Knowlton and of The Neville Group and special assistant to the Minister of Finance. CBC to announce AGO’s Heather Conway as head of English Services

TORONTO – The CBC will announce Thursday morning that it has hired the Art Gallery of Ontario’s chief business officer, Heather Conway, as its new head of English Services. Conway (right), 51, was with Alliance Atlantis as executive vice-president of corporate communications, marketing and affiliate relations from 2001 to 2007 and was also CEO of the Canadian arm of Edelman Public relations after that until her two-year stint at the AGO.
