TORONTO – The Canadian Digital Media Network has announced the addition of Reed Hastings, founder and CEO of Netflix, as keynote speaker for its upcoming CDMN Canada 3.0 2013 conference.

TORONTO – Canada’s TV best friend, CBC-TV talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos, is being wooed by CNN, as the U.S. network announced the Canadian TV personality will helm a new weekly interview show on CNN this summer.

TORONTO – CBC/Radio-Canada announced it has signed an agreement with TVA Sports to secure coverage in the French-language market for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil events.
Under the agreement, every match will now be broadcast live to French-speaking audiences – 46 on Radio-Canada and 18 on TVA Sports, which will also have rebroadcast rights for all 64 matches. TVA Sports also becomes a licensed broadcaster of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
