TORONTO – Astral Media announced today its TV Everywhere services TMN GO, HBO GO Canada and TMN Encore GO will now be available to Rogers cable subscribers.
Rogers cable customers who have a subscription to The Movie Network and TMN Encore can access TMN GO’s 1,000-plus hours of high-definition programming, which includes current Hollywood movies and classics, exclusive series from HBO, CINEMAX and Showtime, as well as Canadian original films and series on their various Apple wireless devices or their PCs.
With this announcement, Astral says TMN GO is now available to approximately 75% of all subscribers of The Movie Network (it launched with Cogeco customers and Bell customers last month), with additional television providers expected to launch the service in the coming months.
“Launching TMN GO with Rogers is a significant milestone for our business as it will enable us to bring our innovative streaming service to a greater number of TMN subscribers,” said Domenic Vivolo, senior vice-president, sales and marketing for Astral Television Networks, in the announcement. “We are excited to further demonstrate the value and entertainment proposition offered by TMN with the launch of this new, premium platform.”
Rogers cable subscribers with a Rogers Anyplace TV account can download the free TMN GO app from the App Store on their iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini and iPod touch or by visiting www.tmngo.ca.
