Ericsson wraps up Telcocell purchase

TORONTO - Ericsson has finalized its purchase of Canadian consulting and systems integration company Telcocell. The deal, announced in July, includes approximately 200 Telcocell services employees and consultants based in Canada and the U.S. who will begin operating under the Ericsson brand this week. "With Telcocell we strengthen and further expand our consulting and systems integration capabilities in converged charging and billing in North America”, said Paolo Colella, Ericsson’s head of consulting and systems integration, in the statement.  “This acquisition confirms our commitment to broaden Ericsson's expertise in the IT-transformation area."
