TV viewing remains high


TORONTO – Viewership of traditional television in April continues to be significantly higher than pre-Covid-19 crisis levels, reports marketing and research association thinktv. For the week of April 13th, viewing by adults 25-54 and kids 2-11 are both up 15%, while young adults aged 18-24 are up 18% compared to the weeks prior to the pandemic. It is a similar story for Canadian conventional news programming, which is up 55% for A25-54 and 40% for A18-34 over the pre-COVID period. Specialty news networks have seen even greater growth, up 162% for A25-54 and 191% for A18-34. www.thinktv.ca
