Distributed in Canada by Ethnic Channels Group (ECG), Insight TV’s programming includes original action sports, lifestyle and entertainment shows featuring global influencers including Droners, Travel with a Goat, Road to Gymkhana GRiD, King of the Hammers, THRU, and Breaking Limits.

Infinite Wireless data plans have no overage charges
TORONTO – Rogers Communications today said it will introduce unlimited wireless data plans with no overage charges starting tomorrow (Thursday), on its main Rogers brand.
Also, said the company, it plans to launch new financing options to give customers more affordable smartphone and device options.
Rogers Infinite Wireless plans with unlimited wireless data will start at $75 for 10GB of high speed data for every line on its fastest LTE network, reads the company release. Service plans of $95 and $125 a month will also be offered for 20 GB and 50 GB, respectively.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC – Telus is investing $150 million to connect more than 90% of homes and businesses in Prince George, including the North Side of Lheidli T’enneh First Nation’s Fort George 2 reserve, directly to its fibre optic network.
The gigabit-enabled Telus PureFibre network will give residents access to Internet speeds of up to a gigabit, while businesses, schools, healthcare providers and other institutions can access even more speed and capacity, reads the news release. VANCOUVER – Telus announced an expansion of its Connecting For Good portfolio Wednesday that will see two of the initiatives launch in Manitoba and New Brunswick.
In its home province of British Columbia, the company pledged to boost its Internet and Mobility for Good programs to encompass an additional 25,000 families and youth.
Telus Internet for Good offers low cost, high-speed Internet to families with children currently receiving income or disability assistance from the provincial government. OTTAWA – Telus has consolidated its regulatory and government relations office in Ottawa with the departure of three senior staffers.
Departing this week are Johanne Senecal, SVP regulatory and goverment affairs; Alexa Young, VP government relations; and Ann Mainville-Neeson, VP broadcasting policy and regulatory affairs.
The company has not announced replacements for the trio. Stephen Schmidt, vice-president telecom policy and chief regulatory legal counsel will now have a bit more on his plate.

MONTREAL – Telus will invest $53 million in its wireless and wireline networks in Greater Montreal this year as part of a five-year billion dollar commitment in the province of Quebec, the company said Tuesday.
These investments are part of a 20-year partnership agreement between Telus and the Old Port of Montréal Corporation (OPMC) to equip the landmark site with new technologies, including C-RAN wireless technology and a free high-speed Wi-Fi zone.

VANCOUVER – Higher wireless and wireline data services revenue helped to power first quarter profits and revenues at Telus, the company said Thursday.
Consolidated operating revenue of $3.5 billion was up 3.8% from the same period a year ago.
