MONTREAL, TORONTO and VANCOUVER — Bell, Rogers and Telus all announced Thursday they have each signed reciprocal roaming agreements with AT&T to provide their respective business customers with seamless access to AT&T’s LTE-M network throughout the United States.
In the case of each agreement, a Bell, Rogers or Telus customer will be able to roam on AT&T’s LTE-M network across the US, and AT&T customers in turn will be able to roam on the LTE-M networks operated in Canada by Bell, Rogers and Telus.

VANCOUVER — Telus is launching today the Telus IoT Shop, which it says is Canada’s first self-serve online portal that enables businesses to easily purchase and manage prepaid IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity on its wireless network.

OTTAWA – Telus and the City of Ottawa announced this week the company will provide free Wi-Fi service on the O-Train and underground cell connectivity, too.
This will let Ottawa commuters get online, text or make calls no matter where they go.
Telus will provide free, unlimited Wi-Fi at the start of the O-Train Confederation Line service in the three downtown, underground Line 1 station’s platform and door to door cellular service through the entire system including the downtown tunnel. MONTREAL – Telus and Zú announced Wednesday the two companies have entered into a long-term partnership to launch an experimental 5G laboratory
Zú, a Montreal-based non-profit whose mission is to develop leading-edge innovative projects in the entertainment sector will, with help from Telus, “empower creators to explore cutting-edge technologies, from augmented reality and 3D holograms to mobile gaming, interactive storytelling, live volumetric performance, and 4K live streaming,” reads the press release.

VANCOUVER – Telus saw consolidated operating revenue increase 4.2% to $3.6 billion in the second quarter, ended June 30th, thanks to strong growth on the wired and wireless sides of the business.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 9.8% as compared to the second quarter of 2018 to $1.4 billion. The company noted in its press release that growth was partly offset by declines in wireline legacy voice and legacy data services.
