GATINEAU – Quebecor Media’s Sun News compared itself to a wireless new entrant Tuesday saying it needs to benefit from a regulatory mechanism in order for it to compete against the established news players, company executives argued before the CRTC on the first day of the Commission’s 9(1)(h) hearing. Quebecor renews partnership of electronic equipment recycling program

MONTREAL – Quebecor has announced it will once again be a major partner with the Jour de la Terre Quebec organization’s electronic equipment recycling program. The company and its Videotron subsidiary has supported the recycling program since 2008. Nearly 100,000 handsets have been diverted from landfill sites since, achieving a reuse rate estimated at 24%.
