Quebecor renews partnership of electronic equipment recycling program

MONTREAL – Quebecor has announced it will once again be a major partner with the Jour de la Terre Quebec organization’s electronic equipment recycling program. The company and its Videotron subsidiary has supported the recycling program since 2008. Nearly 100,000 handsets have been diverted from landfill sites since, achieving a reuse rate estimated at 24%. More than 240 drop-off points have been set up in Quebecor’s Videotron stores and kiosks, Le SuperClub Videotron locations and Archambault stores across Quebec.
