Crave orders second season of ‘Project Runway Canada’

Bell Media’s Crave on Monday announced the fashion reality competition series Project Runway Canada has been greenlit for a second season. Quebecor reports first quarter of relative mobile ARPU growth since Freedom acquisition

By Ahmad Hathout Quebecor’s mobile wireless segment reported positive monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) growth on a year-over-year basis for the first time since the Freedom Mobile acquisition in April 2023. ARPU was $35.23 in the fourth quarter, up 1.4 per cent or 48 cents, against the same quarter the year prior. Since the acquisition of Freedom from Shaw, mobile ARPU was consistently down against their comparable quarters, despite sequential improvements in the metric for every quarter in 2025 leading up to the final three months. Videotron last week announced it has selected Samsung to upgrade its network infrastructure with Samsung’s 5G non-standalone (NSA) and 4G LTE core gateway solution. Ericsson, U of T partner on next-gen AI-powered mobile tech

Ericsson Canada and the University of Toronto announced Wednesday a new multi-year partnership to accelerate research and development in next-generation AI-powered mobile network technologies. CMF’s third demographic report shows steady increase in representation of diverse communities

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) last week published the third edition of its Demographic Report, which shows representation of diverse communities across CMF’s funding programs has steadily increased over the last three years. The latest report is based on data collected from individuals who self-identified through the CMF’s PERSONA-ID system for funding programs in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Telus says it has achieved 100% renewable and low-emitting electricity target

Telus announced last week it has achieved its target of sourcing 100 per cent of electricity for its global operations from renewable or low-emitting sources as of Dec. 31, 2025.
