TORONTO – Calling all aspiring chefs – Food Network Canada is serving up free one-on-one cooking lessons with top culinary talent.

Food Network Canada Chef School is a new web series that sees chefs Michael Smith, Lynn Crawford, Roger Mooking and Mark McEwan return to the kitchen to demonstrate that delicious and impressive homemade meals don't have to be complicated.

Through short instructional videos, each chef whips up five of their favourite recipes that will satisfy any savory or sweet cravings, plus shares tips and techniques that they've learned over the course of their well-seasoned culinary careers.

Learn how to elevate comfort food classics like the creamiest mac and cheese and how to cook steak or chicken perfectly every time.  Dishes that seemed daunting, like homemade gnocchi or steamed mussels, will become regular at home favourites with some easy techniques.
