SaskTel’s infiNET network surpasses 200,000 homes

REGINA – SaskTel’s fibre optic network infiNET is now available to more than 200,000 homes and businesses throughout Saskatchewan after launching in 2012.infiNET is being deployed through SaskTel’s ambitious twelve year, $670 million fibre-to-the-premises program that will bring fibre directly to homes and businesses by upgrading SaskTel’s broadband network in the nine largest urban centres in the province.  To date, construction is complete in Estevan, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Swift Current, and Weyburn, while 55% of homes in Regina and 68% of homes in Saskatoon now have access to infiNET. In 2017, SaskTel will bring infiNET to Rosthern as a pilot...
