SaskTel brings infiNET network to North Battleford

REGINA - SaskTel has launched its infiNET fibre optic network in select neighbourhoods of North Battleford.infiNET is being deployed through SaskTel’s Fibre to the Premises program, a $670 million investment to bring fibre optics directly to homes by upgrading the broadband network in the province’s nine largest urban centers.  The service provides up to 300 Mbps download and 80 Mbps upload.“We understand that, when it comes to the Internet, speed is paramount,” said acting SaskTel president and CEO Doug Burnett, in the news release. “And, now that we’ve begun to rollout infiNET in North Battleford, the residents there are about to experience...
