TORONTO – Rogers Media has added Prom Queen: The Homecoming to its Shorts in the City programming initiative, which now includes free iPad and iPhone applications.
Premiering July 5th, the newest installment in the Prom Queen series features 22 episodes which will be released over the coming weeks at Citytv.com, Flare.com and Louloumagazine.com. The series will also be featured on the Shorts in City iPad app, though on the iPhone app, the series is exclusively available to Rogers and Fido customers. Prom Queen is produced by Vuguru, Michael Eisner’s new media studio in which Rogers is an investor.
"Prom Queen 3 is filled with drama and excitement; each episode will keep audiences coming back for more”, said Claude Galipeau, Rogers’ SVP and GM of digital media, in the announcement. “It’s part of our on-going commitment to bring Canadians high quality, well produced, online shows."
Additional shows will be launching in August and in the Fall of this year, the announcement continued.
