
MONTREAL – Saying it is looking to increase in the volume of original content for all of Quebecor's broadcast platforms, including Club illico, TVA Network and its specialty channels and their digital platforms, Québecor Content today announced changes to its structure and created two new executive director positions.
Johanne Ménard (pictured, left) has been promoted to executive director, variety and lifestyle and Nadège Pouyez (right), has been hired as executive director, drama and documentary
Ménard had been director of lifestyle and documentary brands and content at Quebecor and her appointment will take effect on December 2nd. Prior to that, she vice-president programming at MusiquePlus.
Pouyez has more than 20 years in television production and was until recently director of programming, culture, society and documentaries at Télé-Québec. She starts her new gig on December 9th. Before joining Télé-Québec, she participated in the production of numerous documentaries, mainly for Les Productions Virage, and also worked as an independent producer.
With the two new divisions and executives, Québecor Content is expanding its commitment to original Quebec productions, says the release.
Both Ménard and Pouyez will report to Denis Dubois, Quebecor’s recently hired vice-president, original content.
