Northwestel lowering prices on high-tier internet plans

Northwest Territories and Yukon – Bell subsidiary Northwestel announced Thursday price drops for its higher internet plans in most of its fibre communities by March 1. The company is shaving $20 and $10 per month off of its 500 Mbps and 300 Mbps download speed plans, respectively, which will be reflected on customers’ bills automatically, it said in a press release. The plans before the discounts cost roughly $240 and $220 per month, respectively, according to its website.
