WINNIPEG – Just in time for the start of the NHL season, MTS is offering NHL Centre Ice to its MTS Ultimate TV customers.
NHL Centre Ice is designed for hockey fans to watch games outside of their local market, subject to local blackouts. MTS Ultimate TV customers who subscribe will be able to view up to 40 out-of-market games a week throughout the 2011-12 regular season for $200.
"We are always working to bring our customers the best in television programming," said MTS VP of marketing, Stan Kurtas, in Tuesday’s announcement. "NHL Centre Ice is a great addition to our MTS Ultimate TV service and will give NHL fans the freedom to follow their favourite teams and players from across the league."
NHL Centre Ice will be available on free preview from October 6 – 23, 2011 for all MTS Ultimate TV customers.
