MTS snaps up Canadian IT infrastructure and services provider

WINNIPEG – MTS has bought EPIC Information Solutions, a Winnipeg-based company that provides IT infrastructure and managed services to approximately 700 businesses across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the companies announced Wednesday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. MTS said that the acquisition expands its ability to offer Manitoba businesses a broader range of combined IP communications and IT (networking, servers, integration) solutions that address customers' computing, data processing and storage needs, as well as the need to communicate with their own customers, vendors and other locations.
