TORONTO – From the ‘interesting summer job’ file, Mobilicity is seeking a blogger to accompany its CEO Dave Dobbin on a two-week trip across Canada.
The wireless carrier has launched a contest on its Facebook page for what it calls a ‘CEO Blogger’ to document Dobbin’s tour via blog, Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets. In addition to the all-expenses-paid trip from July 15 – 30th, the winner will also receive a Mobilicity handset of their choice with one-year of service and a BlackBerry PlayBook 16GB.
The contest is open to Canadians aged 18 and older living in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Entrants must submit an up-to-one-minute-long video clip here by June 19, 2011 explaining why they should win. Consumers will be able to vote (via the ‘like’ button) for their favourite candidates to help Mobilicity with the selection process.
