Industry minister asks advisory committee for measures to ensure network reliability

OTTAWA – Industry minister François-Philippe Champagne met with the Canadian Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee today “to instruct them to come up with further measures to ensure reliable networks across the country,” he announced on Twitter. “Keeping Canadians connected is critical,” another tweet from a thread on the topic says. “That’s why earlier this summer I directed the telecom industry to improve network reliability across Canada.
