Danish study downplays cellphone, cancer link

CELLPHONE USE DOES NOT increase the risk of cancer, according to a new study conducted by Danish researchers and published on the British Medical Journal’s website Friday. The large scale study, which involved more than 350,000 people, echoes the results of other recent findings that downplay a link between mobile phones and brain cancer. Earlier this year, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer classified cellphone use as "possibly carcinogenic to humans”, as Cartt.ca reported.
