Bell Media’s CTV on Monday announced its programming slate for this fall, including new series The Traitors: New Blood and S.W.A.T Exiles, and new seasons of returning fan-favourite drama and unscripted shows.
Premiering Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, The Traitors: New Blood is a civilian-led iteration of the Alan Cumming-hosted U.S. series The Traitors (available to stream on Crave). The CTV Original The Traitors Canada, hosted by Karine Vanasse, returns to CTV for a fourth season on Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
S.W.A.T. Exiles is a spinoff of the CBS series S.W.A.T. starring Shemar Moore. The original series aired on Corus Entertainment’s Global TV. CTV will premiere S.W.A.T. Exiles on Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
CTV has also picked up Fox medical drama Doc, starring Canadian actress Molly Parker, which previously aired on Global TV. The third season of Doc will debut on CTV on Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
As previously announced, NBC’s long-running Saturday Night Live (SNL) is joining CTV’s late-night lineup this fall. After 51 seasons on Global TV, SNL will air its 52nd season in simulcast on CTV and Crave (premiere date to be announced).
Season 9 of unscripted series MasterChef Canada, featuring judges Mary Berg, Hugh Acheson and Craig Wong, will debut on CTV on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Drama and comedy series returning to CTV this fall include R.J. Decker (Sept. 15) starring Scott Speedman; Best Medicine (Sept. 22) starring Josh Charles; Scrubs (Sept. 30) featuring Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke; Tracker (Oct. 5) starring Justin Hartley; Boston Blue (Oct. 9) starring Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green; and 9-1-1: Nashville (Oct. 15) starring Chris O’Donnell.
Other series returning for new seasons include The Voice (Sept. 21), The Floor (Sept. 23), Celebrity Weakest Link (Sept. 23), Shark Tank (Sept. 30), The Amazing Race (Sept. 30), Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (Oct. 2), Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage (Oct. 7), Grey’s Anatomy (Oct. 15), St. Denis Medical (Nov. 2) and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins (Nov. 2).
CTV will also air the 78th Emmy Awards on Sept. 14 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the Canadian Country Music Awards on Sept. 19, and the 60th CMA Awards on Nov. 18.
Bell Media remains the exclusive television broadcast partner of the National Football League (NFL) in Canada. Beginning Sept. 9 with a showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, TSN, CTV and Crave will deliver wall-to-wall NFL action with Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football and Sunday Night Football, along with the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl LXI on Feb. 14, 2027.
In addition, the Canadian Football League (CFL) continues on TSN, CTV and Crave with regular season action, playoff matchups starting Oct. 31, and the 113th Grey Cup live from Calgary on Nov. 15.
