Clearcable partners with Lambton College for video streaming research project

HAMILTON, ON — Telecom consulting firm Clearcable is partnering with Sarnia, Ont.’s Lambton College on a one-year research project that will use artificial intelligence to establish high-quality, live television streaming.The collaborative project also promises to produce a measurement process and method for assessing the quality of live streamed video, by setting parameters and guidelines to ensure optimized high-quality streaming video and by reducing these data points to a software-based tool to automate measurement and reporting.“The key to fulfilling the market demand will be verifiable quality of experience,” said Rob McCann (pictured on right), president and founder of Hamilton, Ont.-based Clearcable,...
