QUISPAMSIS, NB – After former CEO Alyson Townsend launched a wrongful dismissal lawsuit last week, which we reported on, the CCSA Board of directors issued the following release in response.
“As a result of a recent contract dispute with a former CEO, CCSA is now engaged in a legal proceeding. The Board of CCSA has every confidence that this issue has been handled in a professional manner and has been guided by outside legal counsel throughout the process. All actions taken by CCSA in this matter were made based on legal advice and with the unanimous direction of the Board of Directors,” reads the statement.
“CCSA remains a strong confident national association dedicated to serving its members and the Board of Directors and staff continue to be energized by that challenge. Given the legal nature of this contract dispute CCSA will not be making any further comment on this case until it is resolved. CCSA staff and Board remain open to dialogue on ongoing issues and direction to better serve our members and thank members for their ongoing support.”
