Cablovision Warwick opts for switched digital

WARWICK, QC - Cablovision Warwick is implementing cloud-delivered switched digital video (SDV) in an effort to offer more HD channels and IP-based interactive video services to its 2,000 video subscribers. Using technology from Adara, Cablovision Warwick said the move will allow it to better compete with growing competition from satellite and IPTV. “We expect an energized and flexible service offering combined with significantly reduced costs and risk as a result of the Adara launch,” said Cablovision Warwick CEO David Ouellette, in the announcement. “We are particularly excited about winning back video subscribers as a result of delivering new customer services and experiences.”...
