Banff awards new Francophone prize

TORONTO – The Banff World Television Festival will hand out a new prize this year at its annual television awards called ‘Best Francophone Grand Prize’. The award will honour the best television programs originally produced in French from Canada and around the world. Every entry in this year’s program competition, regardless of category entered and the subject matter, will be considered for this award provided it was originally produced in French.
