APTN’s re-brand continues with website update

WINNIPEG – Aboriginal broadcaster APTN has re-launched its website, and is exploring ways to offer its content across multiple platforms such as mobile and “various video delivery systems”.

The site features APTN’s new on-air brand colours and a “clean, efficient, user-friendly interface”. The site’s technological updates “will allow it to serve as a base for on-going expansion and to vantage rich media opportunities”, the company said in a statement.

“We are very pleased with the new look and functionality of the APTN website,” said director of marketing Sky Bridges, in the announcement. “Over a year and a half ago we embarked on a process to refresh the face of the network and I think we have achieved that. The website update in itself was an enormous undertaking and one we are eager to share with our viewers.”

The website re-launch is part of the network’s new on-air look and 2009 spring broadcast season.
