EBOX to deploy Technicolor’s Android STB in Québec


MONTREAL – Independent ISP EBOX announced today it will offer the Sapphire Android TV set-top box to its subscribers in Quebec.

“The ‍Sapphire set-top box (above) provides premium 4K Ultra HD 2160p/60 and high dynamic range (HDR) OTT TV services in a small and customizable design. The OTT receiver leverages latest system-on-a chip technologies—including a powerful quad-core processor—to support enriched services such as next-generation TV apps for Android, Bluetooth-enabled applications, immersive gaming and Interoperability with mobile devices and accessories,” the EBOX/Technicolor press release reads.
