MLS on TSN broadcasts mark return to regular season


TORONTO — With Major League Soccer resuming regular season play, Bell Media’s TSN today announced its MLS on TSN broadcast schedule kicks off tonight with Vancouver Whitecaps FC taking on Toronto FC at BMO Field, starting at 8 p.m. ET on TSN. (Pictured is Vancouver midfielder Russell Teibert.)

The resumption of MLS’s regular season follows the MLS is Back Tournament, which took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida and saw the Portland Timbers win the one-off tournament final on August 11.

TSN is the exclusive English-language broadcaster of MLS matches. The first phase of the MLS on TSN regular season broadcast schedule features games being played in each regional market due to travel restrictions between Canada and the United States. The first-phase matchups will feature all three Canadian teams competing against each other.

TSN’s coverage of Toronto FC and Montreal Impact games will feature play-by-play commentators Luke Wileman and Steven Caldwell, alongside game analysis from Kristian Jack. Calling all Vancouver Whitecaps FC home games are Peter Schaad and Paul Dolan.

MLS on TSN games are available for live streaming and on-demand viewing to TSN and TSN Direct subscribers via TSN.ca/Live and the TSN app.
