
TORONTO – BBC Earth kicks off a national two-month free preview on October 9 with new and exclusive Canadian premieres ranging from the scientific wonders of the human body to the fascination of space.
Programming includes the North American premiere of Astronauts: Toughest Job in the Universe (pictured), starring Canadian astronaut and former Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield, which debuts October 15 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Other new series include The World’s Most Extraordinary People on October 16, Meet the Humans on October 18 and Africa on October 29.
In Canada, BBC Earth is owned and operated by Blue Ant Media in partnership with BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC.
