BEAUSEJOUR, MB – MTS flipped the switch on its MTS FiON Network in Beausejour Friday as it continues to expand its fibre optic network across the province.
The move allows residents access to MTS's television service MTS Ultimate TV, and high-speed Internet services.
"The MTS FiON Network gives Manitobans more options when it comes to their entertainment and information choices," said MTS president Kelvin Shepherd, in the announcement. "With over 120 HD channels on MTS Ultimate TV, and high-speed Internet plans capable of speeds of up to 250 Mbps, Beausejour residents have access to technology that is among the most advanced on the market."
This expansion to Beausejour is part of a multi-year program to deploy MTS's fibre-to-the-home network to over 20 communities in Manitoba,
