More management changes for Corus Kids’ Nelvana unit


TORONTO – Following last week’s news of management changes at Corus, the company announced additional executive changes today for its Corus Kids division.

Colin Bohm will lead this division as vice-president, television, head of Corus Kids. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s kids-targeted specialty television services as well as Nelvana Studio and Nelvana Enterprises.

New positions have been created to co-lead Nelvana Enterprises: Antoine Erligmann has been appointed co-head of global distribution and licensing of Nelvan’s brand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Andrew Kerr will have the same responsibilities for Nelvana’s brands in the Americas and Australasia. Both Erligmann and Kerr will report to Bohm.

Jerry Diaz continues as vice-president, worldwide sales and distribution, responsible for placing Nelvana’s new and library brands with global broadcasters and digital partners. Jerry will report to Antoine and Andrew.

On the production side, Irene Weibel will continue in her role as vice-president, head of Nelvana Studio, with ongoing responsibility for developing and producing new content for Corus’ Kids television assets, global licensing and broadcast partners.
