BANFF – With just over a month until this year’s Banff World Media Festival, another prominent executive from ABC has agreed to talk social TV in a keynote interview.
Albert Cheng, EVP and chief product officer of digital media at Disney/ABC Television Group, will discuss the consumer market’s growing appetite for immersive and on-the-go television experiences. As part of the NextMedia Digital Innovator Series, Cheng will highlight why the ABC Player App, which connects viewers with their favourite shows anytime from anywhere, can lay claim to the sixth most downloaded free iPad app of all time. He will also offer his perspective on ways the TV industry and advertisers can use technology and social media to tune-in fans.
