Rogers launches first video iPad app

TORONTO – Rogers-owned Citytv has become the first Canadian media company to release a video iPad app for Canadian audiences.Just in time for Friday’s Canadian launch of Apple's iPad, Citytv.com unveiled an iPad app for its on-line programming initiative Shorts in the City which kicked off earlier this week.The Shorts in the City app offers a selection of serialized on-line video content featuring over 17 shows, 500 episodes and 35 hours of drama, comedy, sci-fi, thriller, horror and animation.
