Tremblant, Telus and Nurun launch mobile resort application

MONT TREMBLANT — With the help of Telus, Mont Tremblant Ski Resort is launching a new mobile application – developed by Quebecor Media’s interactive marketing agency Nurun.

Free for users of iPhones and the Android smartphones, this tool will allow users to quickly locate any information on the resort they need, including promotional offers, programming, ski conditions, dining, lodging and more. The application features an augmented reality system enabling users to “live the full Tremblant Resort experience,” says the press release.

“The launch of the Tremblant application, possible thanks to the support of Telus, is another step in our mission to better serve visitors and ski enthusiasts by providing even more information and fun,” said Patrice Malo, president and COO of Mont Tremblant Ski Resort.

Targeting guests and visitors to the resort, the Tremblant application is the first of its kind in Quebec for a ski resort. The application uses location based services for intelligent devices to provide information such as weather conditions and the resort’s top promotional offers to ensure a successful visit. Users will then know the location of the nearest desired service, regardless of their location.
