TORONTO – CTV will make almost all of its primetime schedule from this season available on-line the day after each show’s television broadcast.
In addition, each of the series available on CTV.ca will play in an enhanced 16:9 video player with improved video quality that will launch in sync with CTV’s premiere week, September 20. The series include returning favourites such as Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and The Dr. Oz Show, through to new series like Blue Bloods and Conan, the network announced.
“There is a growing demand and dedicated audience for network programming on-line, and we are aiming to be ahead of the curve to meet that demand,” said Alon Marcovici, EVP of digital media, in the press release. “This programming expansion is a delivery on our commitment to ensuring that our audience has access to the best shows from across the schedule. Almost every prime-time show, and a fair share of daytime and late night programming, will be available to CTV.ca viewers.”
