Zerofail acquisition doubles capacity, expands network reach for Openface

MONTREAL - Openface Internet has bought outsourced infrastructure and hosting solutions company Zerofail, the companies announced Wednesday.  Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Openface said that the deal doubles its fiber optic network in Montreal, plus adds point-to-point wireless service to its business services, with some areas of the city capable of speeds up to 1 Gbps.  Furthermore, the service is available in the Metro Toronto area, powered by the multiple data centers where the company is interconnected.Zerofail's 20 employees will be integrated into Openface’s team over the next few months, continues the news release.“Five years ago, we began...
