Z asks stand-up comics to walk tightrope in new reality series

MONTREAL — Bell Media’s French-language specialty service Z announced today Quebec comedian Christine Morency (pictured) will host a new weekly comedy reality series, Corde Raide (Tightrope), starting in the fall. Stand-up comedians will be invited to deliver a routine on a polarizing theme in front of panel of judges affected by the topic. Expect some taboo topics on this particular tightrope, says the press release.
