TORONTO – Digital media management company Yangaroo said Wednesday that it has finalized a three year agreement with Brazil-based music industry entrepreneur Goran Andersson for digital delivery of broadcast audio and music video.
The agreement will see Yangaroo provide its digital media distribution system (DMDS) to Andersson's company, Universi Brazil, which works with leading major and independent record labels, and has strong ties with the major radio and television broadcasters in the country.
Yangaroo's DMDS music video delivery has become the standard in North America delivering the majority of HD videos to major broadcasters including MTV/VH1, REVOLT, BET, Fuse, Music Choice, CMT, GAC, MuchMusic, AUX, MusiquePlus, and many others. DMDS also delivers music audio tracks to over 3,000 radio stations and other destinations in the U.S. and Canada.
"What a great time to partner with Goran Andersson and Universi Brazil. Goran's market knowledge, experience, and established network is a great asset as we move into this vibrant new market," said Yangaroo vice chairman and COO Cliff Hunt, in the news release. "This coming year should be one of the most exciting in Brazil's history and we look forward to being a part of it."
