Xplornet gets more involved in Eastern Ontario wireless broadband initiative

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, ON - Xplornet Communications has won a third local access contract from Eastern Ontario Wardens' Caucus (EOWC), this time to wirelessly connect more than 20,000 homes and businesses in Northumberland County. The coverage area spans over 1,300 square kilometres, encompassing communities such as Castleton, Cobourg, Colborne, Cold Springs, Garden Hill, Grafton, Roseneath and Welcome in the eastern part of the province.
