Xplornet embarks on hiring spree

WOODSTOCK – Citing growing demand for its services, Xplornet Communications will increase the number of full-time employees at its customer care centre in Fredericton by 34% this year. The rural broadband provider said Wednesday that the 55 new sales and service roles come as a result of “recent milestones” at the company, including last week’s launch of the EchoStar XVII broadband satellite on which Xplornet has purchased 100% of the Canadian capacity.
