XM Canada offers BlackBerry app


TORONTO – XM Canada is launching a BlackBerry app as an extension to its existing XM online+ service, allowing BlackBerry users to take the satellite radio company’s programming along wherever they go.The news comes four months after its competitor Sirius launched an iPhone app, and well after its American parent debuted its own BlackBerry app.Starting on April 12, users can download the free app to the BlackBerry Storm, Bold, Tour and Curve, for access to 100 channels of XM programming.XM online+ also doubles as an on-line player for the desktop, allowing listeners to tune in at home or at work....
