Xbox adds OTA tuner for Canada, U.S.

REDMOND, WA – Microsoft’s Xbox One console will soon be able to help Canadians watch over-the-air television.The company said Wednesday that it is partnering with Hauppauge on over-the-air TV tuners, due in part to consumer demand. Customers will also need an HDTV antenna and be within range of over-the-air broadcast stations.Members of the Xbox One preview program in Canada and the U.S. can get over-the-air TV now by purchasing the Hauppauge WinTV-955Q for $79.99 plus an HDTV antenna.
