TORONTO – Seamus Blackley, game industry veteran and co-creator of the Microsoft Xbox will deliver a keynote address at Interactive Ontario’s X-Summit conference, and YouTube star Corey Vidal will join the “TV on the Internet: Success, Lies and Videotape” panel.

X-Summit is a cross-media conference that enables content producers to tell their stories seamlessly across multiple platforms, happening in Toronto on November 6 & 7, 2012.

“From his work on the Xbox to heading the video game division of CAA and closing over $500 million in deals, Seamus Blackley has a wealth of knowledge across many facets of interactive digital media,” said Interactive Ontario President & CEO Donald Henderson. “Mr. Blackley is a giant in the gaming industry and we’re thrilled that X-Summit attendees will have the chance to hear his insights and advice.”

Toronto’s own Corey Vidal has been making videos on YouTube since 2006 and in that time his videos have garnered over 65 million views. His company, ApprenticeAProductions, spans 9 YouTube channels and releases dozens of videos a month, making it one of the largest and most-viewed YouTube networks in Canada.

Conference attendees can book up to five 1×1 meetings with select speakers. Visit x-summit.com for details or to register.
