BURLINGTON, Ont. — Canada’s motorsports and automotive channel REV TV announced today the return of the world’s leading production motorcycle racing series, the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), for the upcoming 2022 season.
REV TV’s coverage begins on April 9 with the season-opening Aragon Round from the MotorLand racing circuit in the Spanish province of Teruel.
“The 2021 WorldSBK provided pulse-pounding drama and action from lights out in Aragon to the checkered flag in Mandalika,” said Mike Garrow, president of REV TV, in a press release.
“We can’t wait to see the rivalry between (Jonathan) Rea and (Toprak) Razgatlıoğlu renewed and all the riveting racing — featuring machines based on the real world bikes Canadians can ride and view at dealerships across the country — live on REV TV,” Garrow said.
“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with REV TV,” said Alex Arroyo, head of media rights at Dorna Sports, the rights holder and organizer of WorldSBK.
“We very much look forward to enjoying this season together, providing our fans in Canada with the best production motorcycle racing show possible as WorldSBK continues to thrill fans with close competition and battles right to the wire.”
