DENVER and TORONTO – KSE Media Ventures has acquired a 100% interest in World Fishing Network U.S., the companies announced Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, World Fishing Network LLC had been jointly owned and operated by KSE Media Ventures and Toronto-based Insight Sports since January 2011. KSE’s partnership in the Canadian World Fishing Network service (World Fishing Network ULC) remains unchanged.
“The integration of World Fishing Network’s U.S. operations into Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks is a natural fit that adds to our unrivaled roster of offerings in the outdoor lifestyle space,” said KSE Media Ventures president and CEO Matt Hutchings, in the announcement. “We’re committed to growing the network in the U.S. and continuing to work with our partners to maximize the network’s positon in the Canadian marketplace.”
Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks is the corporate management entity for lifestyle networks Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel, as well as television production operations including Winnercomm.
