DENVER – World Fishing Network (WFN) is now available to Cox Communications customers in Oklahoma with additional Cox markets to be added through 2014.
Effective immediately, WFN is part of Cox’s new Sports Pack 2, available in both standard and high-definition in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa service areas. The tier is available to Cox Advance TV customers for $10 per month.
"WFN is excited to partner with Cox Communications, which services many markets in the U.S. that are home to a large, passionate core of anglers," said Sean Luxton, senior vice president of Digital and Content Distribution for WFN, in the announcement. "WFN provides a daily escape for more than 60 million recreational and sport fishing enthusiasts in the U.S., and Cox is a powerful partner who will help us deliver great content to a large segment of our audience, especially in the western half of the country."
WFN, which has gained a 50% growth in distribution since 2011, will be available to more than 56 million cable, satellite and telecommunications households throughout North America once Cox completes the rollout of Sports Pack 2.
