Winnipeg radio raises half a million

WINNPEG – Standard Radio stations Hot 103 and QX104 raised $511,000 for Winnipeg's Children's Hospital at their most recent radiothon, April 19 to 21.QX 104 program director Janet Trecarten notes that that figure is up by 25% over last year's tally. This is the fifth year for the annual radiothon. Trecarten notes that the annual event was initiated nationally by Standard Radio which owns the two Winnipeg stations.
