Wind Mobile offers mobile phones, free service to Syrian refugee families

TORONTO – Wind Mobile is providing Syrian refugee families who are coming to Canada with mobile phones and two years of wireless service free of charge.Wind Mobile said Tuesday that it is partnering with HYLA Mobile and Lifeline Syria on this initiative.  Canadians wishing to contribute to the effort are invited to bring their surplus mobile phones to any Wind Mobile store for donation. "Canadians are responding with compassion and generosity to the plight of Syrians who have been forced to flee their homeland.  We want to do what we can to help," said Wind Mobile marketing VP Jennifer Douglas, in the news...
